STATEMENT OF FAITH

We believe that God exists eternally in three persons, Father, Son, and Holy Spirit. (Rom. 1:20)

We believe the authority of scripture is verbally inspired by God and are a complete revelation of His will for the salvation of men. They constitute the divine and only rule of Christian faith and practice (2 Peter 1:20, 21; 2 Tim. 3:15, 16).

We believe in all 66 books of the bible. (2 Tim. 3:16, 17)

We believe that man was created in the image and likeness of God. Man, by voluntary transgression, fell through disobedience, incurring thereby both physical and spiritual death, and his only hope of redemption is in Jesus Christ, the Son of God (Gen. 1:26-31; Gen. 3:17; Rom. 5:12-21)

We believe that Jesus Christ is God incarnate, fully God and fully man, and that He was conceived and born of a virgin, lived a sinless life, and offered himself as a substitutionary sacrifice for sinners. (Matt. 1:23; Col. 1:19)

We believe salvation has been provided through Jesus Christ for all men; and those who repent and believe in Him are born again of the Holy Spirit (Tit. 3:4-7)

We believe that by the shedding of His blood on the cross that all of humanity receives the forgiveness and remission of sins, and everlasting life for all who believe on His name. (John 19:17, 19; Col. 1:14)

We believe that Jesus Christ was raised on the third day and ascended to the right hand of the Father, who is there to make intercession for the saints. (Matt. 28:6; Luke 24:51; Heb. 7:25)

We believe in the resurrection of those who have fallen asleep in Christ and their translation, together with those who are alive and remain unto the Lord, is imminent and is the blessed hope of the church (1 Thess. 4:16; Rom. 6:23; Titus 2:13; 1 Cor. 15:51, 52)

We believe in the second coming of Jesus Christ (Matthew 1:18-25; John 1:1-18; Romans 8:34; 1 Corinthians 15:1-28; 2 Corinthians 5:21; Galatians 3:1014; Ephesians 1:7; Philippians 2:6-11; Colossians 1:15-23; Hebrews 7:25 ; 9:13 -15; 10:19 ; 1 Peter 2:21-25; 1 John 2:1-2.)

We believe the devil and his angels, the beast and the false prophet, and whosoever is not found written in the Lamb’s Book of Life shall be consigned to everlasting punishment in the lake which burns fire and brimstone, which is the second death (Rev. 19:20; 20:10-15).

We believe in the person of the Holy Spirit who baptizes, empowers and anoints believers for the work of the ministry and also seals us for the day of redemption. (Matt. 3:11; Acts 1:5; Eph. 1:13)

We believe that the Holy Spirit regenerates and indwells the believer for godly living and service. (Col. 1:27)

We believe that by the power of the Holy Spirit we obey the command, “Be ye holy, for I am holy.” Sanctification is the will of God for all believers, and should be earnestly pursued by walking in obedience to God’s Word (Heb. 12:14; 1 Pet. 1:15, 16; 1 Thess. 5:23, 24; 1 John 2:6)

We believe that through the person of the Holy Spirit signs, wonders, and miracles are manifested which glorify the Father and are a sign that the Kingdom of God is come. (Rom. 15:19; Acts 4:30, 6:8)

We believe ordained ministry has been provided by our Lord for a two-fold purpose: (1) The evangelization of the world, and (2) The edification of the Body of Christ (Mark 16:15, 20; Eph. 4:11-13)

We believe God created marriage. It is a covenant between a man and a woman that makes them one (Gen. 2:22, 24; Matt. 19:5-6)

We believe in the gifts of the spirit that are designed to edify, train, and equip the church for its purpose and calling. (1 Cor. 12)

We believe the church is the Body of Christ, the habitation of God through the Holy Spirit, with divine appointments for the fulfillment of Jesus’ great commission. Every person who is born of the Spirit is an integral part of the church as a member of the body of believers. There is a spiritual unity of all believers in our Lord Jesus Christ (Eph. 1:22, 2:19-22; Heb. 12:23; John 17:11, 20-13)

We believe in the full provision of God’s will for all believers:
1. Spiritual (John 3:3-11; 2 Cor. 5:17-21; Rom. 10:9-10)
2. Mental and emotional (2 Tim. 1:7, 2:11; Phil 4:7, 8; Rom. 12:2; Isa. 26:3)
3. Physical (Isa. 53:4, 5; Matt. 8:17; 1 Pet. 2:24)
4. Financial (Josh. 1:8; Mal. 3:10, 11; Luke 6:38; 2 Cor. 9:6-10)

We believe that salvation is by grace, through faith alone, in the person of Jesus Christ and none other. Works on the part of man is not required in order to be saved. (Eph. 2:8, 9)

We believe in apostles, prophets, evangelists, pastors and teachers for the equipping and building up of the Kingdom of God. (1 Cor. 12:27-31)

We believe in Holy Communion and that it is in remembrance of Jesus Christ proclaiming His death until His return; that His body represents bread and that His blood represents the Cup we drink in honor of the blood sealing the New Covenant that all believers partake of. (Luke 22:14-20; Cor. 11:23-26)

We believe in water baptism; and that believers identify with the death, burial, and resurrection of Jesus Christ by being totally immersed indicating that the old man has died or been crucified and buried with Christ, and the rising up out of the water indicates that we are a new creation resurrected, living in the new life in Christ Jesus. Those who are born-again are able to receive water baptism. (Romans 6:3-4; Mark 16:15-16; Acts 2:38).
